New Academic Term – Saturday 7th September
We hope you’ve had a restful and fun filled summer break.
The school re-opens on Saturday, 7th September 2013 at 10.00 a.m. Please come to the school hall for registration and assembly.
So as to make registration quick and easy, we would be grateful if the enclosed registration form is completed and returned at registration. We have left the form in Word format to make it easier to fill-in and save for next year. Up to 4 children can be registered on the same form.
On the form there is a question regarding origins. The Head Teacher requests that parents advise which town/village of Cyprus or Greece your family originated from.
It is with regret that the fees will be increasing this academic year.
Please see the enclosed the new fee structure.
The fees are payable in advance and are payable in two instalments – September 2013 and January 2014 or by Standing order.
If you wish to pay by Standing Order please see Christa Savvides or Niki Pieri, the Treasurers, on the first day of term. You will be required to pay 30% of the fees on the first day of term and then 7 equal instalments commencing on 1st October 2013 and ending on 1st April 2014.
Just to remind you that Queenswell Greek School is GREEN if you have an email address (both parent’s email address) please let us know on the registration forms so we can email all future correspondence. The school’s email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
The school runs compulsory sessions from Years 4, 5, 6, GCSE. The first Friday session is 13th September (from 6.10 – 7.50 pm) – children are to be collected from the Challoner Building and not from the car park or in Woodside Lane.
Please go to the hall. Children should sit with their class in the same place as last year. Children will be introduced to their new teacher, who will then escort them to their new class.
Any child(ren) new to the school should remain in the school hall where the Head Teacher will assign them to the appropriate class.
Registration and paying of fees will commence once the children have gone to their new classes.
The school has a number of children who suffer from nut allergies, for the welfare of these children with nut allergies who attend the school I would like to ask, that whenever possible, food containing nuts or nuts should be not be brought into the school. If your child has any other medical condition that requires a Health Plan please attach a copy of it to the registration form with a photograph of your child.
