Once again I would like to praise all the children who came and danced at the 45th Anniversary Celebrations in November.
However, we still have costumes which have not been returned back to the school. If you still have the costumes, please return it to the school this Saturday.
Please make sure you put your name in the bag and give the costume to either a committee member or to your form teacher.
Dear Parents / Carers,
Christmas is only around the corner and we would really really appreciate your donations for the Tombola and Cake Sale.
Every child who donates a gift for the Tombola will be entered into a prize draw. One prize per class.
Please see below the details.
Dear Parents / Carers,
We felt it necessary to inform you that a child in the Nursery Class has been diagnosed with Scarlet Fever.
You are only contagious before the rash develops and the child was not aware they had Scarlet Fever.
The symptoms are a red rash which is rough to touch, a sore throat and a high temperature
If your child has developed these symptoms please consult your doctor .
Dear parents and carers,
I hope you all agree that the 45th Anniversary celebrations was a great success. The atmosphere was positive and the kids danced brilliantly.
They were organised and looked smart and professional. Everyone made an effort and it paid off. Because they all came in their costumes, there were no delays and we were on time for most of the evening.
I would like to thank all the parents who came and supported the school. We really do appreciate it.
Here are a few photos of the evening.
Dear Parents and Carers,
The 45th Anniversary celebrations is only a few days away. We would like to remind all the parents what Stavroulla and Andreas want the children to wear for the dancing on the night.
The changing facilities are very limited at the Penridge and we would appreciate it if could make sure your children/child arrive in the clothes they will be dancing in to avoid any delays to the dancing on the night.
- National Costume.
- Black tights for the for the boys.
- If you do not have a National Costume we would like the children to wear:
- Black trousers or skirt
- White shirt or school polo shirt.

- Most importantly – Lots of SMILES on the night !!!!!
All the children who have been given National Costumes by the school, please make sure you look after the costume and return it back to the school on the 27th November.
The children who are dancing must attend the whole evening, it will not be possible to come and dance only.

Dear Parents and Carers,
Further to the AGM in October I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the newly elected members of Queenswell Greek School Parents Committee.
As you are aware, Mareanthe Karavis, our long standing Chair of 11 years, has stepped down and I have been elected as the new Chair.
I will endeavour to keep up standards for the school and will be open to new suggestions. My aim is to keep the communications between the school and the parent/carer concise.
Emailing parents/carers has become an invaluable way to get information to you and we would appreciate just a few minutes of your time to read them. You can always add more emails to your household, to guarantee you receive all our correspondence.
You are invited for a coffee or tea any time on Saturdays, as I would like an open door policy. I would like parents/carers to get to know us better and us you. We are available to all parents/carers anytime during school hours on Saturdays.
If you would like to join us, new members are always welcome at any time during the school year.
