Registration September 2017
I hope you’ve had a restful and fun filled summer break.
The school re-opens on Saturday, 9th September 2017 at 10.00 a.m. Please come to the school hall for registration and assembly.
Children should sit with their class in the same place as last year. Children will be introduced to their new teacher, who will then escort them to their new class. Any child(ren) new to the school should remain in the school hall where the Head Teacher will assign them to the appropriate class.
Registration and paying of fees will commence once the children have gone to their new classes.
Please note the GPA has introduced a new registration form. This will available to fill in on the first day of school. All children MUST be registered for insurance purposes.
It is with regret that the fees will be increasing this academic year due to an increase in rental and to give our hardworking teachers a pay rise which they have not received for 7 years. Please see the below for new fee structure.
The fees are payable in advance and are payable in two instalments – September 2017 and January 2018 or by Standing order.
If you wish to pay by Standing Order please see Niki Pieri or Maria Brooks, the Treasurers, on the first day of term. You will be required to pay 30% of the fees on the first day of term and then 7 equal instalments commencing on 1st October 2017 and ending on 1st April 2018. Standing Order forms can be found at the bottom of this page.
We would like to remind you that Queenswell Greek School is GREEN. If you have an email address (both parents’ email address) please let us know on the registration forms so we can email all future correspondence. The school’s email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Based on parents’ comments over the years, it has been decided to phase out Friday classes. From September only GCSE2 classes will be running.
The first Friday session for GCSE2 is 15th September (from 6.10 – 8:00 pm) – children are to be collected from the Challoner Building and not from the car park or in Woodside Lane.
The school has a number of children who suffer from nut allergies, for the welfare of these children with nut allergies who attend the school I would like to ask, that whenever possible, food containing nuts or nuts should be not be brought into the school.
If your child has any other medical condition that requires a Health Plan, please fill in the supplementary Medical Form with a photograph of your child.
I will look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 9th September at 10.00 a.m.
