I hope you’ve had a restful and fun filled summer break.
The school re-opens on Saturday, 8th September 2018 at 10.00 a.m. Please come to the school hall for registration and assembly.
Children should sit with their class in the same place as last year. Children will be introduced to their new teacher, who will then escort them to their new class. Any child(ren) new to the school should remain in the school hall where the Head Teacher will assign them to the appropriate class.
Registration and paying of fees will commence once the children have gone to their new classes.
So as to make registration quick and easy, we would be grateful if the attached registration form is completed and returned at registration. We have left the form in Word format to make it easier to fill-in and re-use. Just update academic year, class and any other relevant information.
On the form there is a question regarding origins. The Head Teacher requests that parents advise which town/village of Cyprus, Greece or any other country your family originated from, if applicable.
The fees are payable in advance and are payable in two instalments – September 2018 and January 2019 or by Standing order.
If you wish to pay by Standing Order please see Niki Pieri or Vasso Andrikou, the Treasurers, on the first day of term. You will be required to pay 30% of the fees on the first day of term and then 7 equal instalments commencing on 1st October 2018 and ending on 1st April 2019. Standing Order forms are also attached.
We would like to remind you that Queenswell Greek School is GREEN. If you have an email address (both parents’ email address) please let us know on the registration forms so we can email all future correspondence. The school’s email address is email@example.com.
The school has a number of children who suffer from nut allergies, for the welfare of these children with nut allergies who attend the school I would like to ask, that whenever possible, food containing nuts or nuts should be not be brought into the school.
If your child has any other medical condition that requires a Health Plan, please fill in the supplementary Medical Form with a photograph of your child.
I will look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 8th September at 10.00 a.m.
Chairperson, Queenswell Greek School
Today was a sad day as we say goodbye to our GCSE class of 2018; they have worked hard all year.
On behalf of the GCSE parents, we would like to send our thanks to Kyrio Phivos for all the amazing teaching he has provided for our children. To Kyria Fotini for her support throughhout the year.
To celebrate and say goodbye, the class had a small party.
We wish them the best of luck for their results in August and for the future.
We will miss you.
